Global Head of Consumer Products for
Beloved “Miraculous™” Franchise
Santa Monica, CA (October 17, 2024) – Miraculous Corp has appointed industry veteran Roz Nowicki as Global Head of Consumer Products for its hit Miraculous™ franchise. Nowicki reports to Andy Yeatman, CEO, Miraculous Corp, who made the announcement today.
Miraculous Corp is the recently formed joint venture between premier European independent studio Mediawan led by Pierre Antoine Capton, which now operates more than 80 studios globally, and ZAG, helmed by creative visionary Jeremy Zag. The venture consolidates all facets of the Miraculous™ brand with a vision to accelerate the growth of the Miraculous™ universe worldwide. A second Miraculous™ feature film is already in the works, with a fourth Miraculous™ animated TV Event airing this fall. Season six of the CG-animated TV series, Miraculous™ – Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, will start delivery later this year, and season seven is in production. The series airs on over 100 broadcast and streaming partner platforms around the world. Miraculous™ also has a thriving licensing and merchandising program with 400+ licensees across the globe and over $1.5B+ in lifetime retail sales.
Nowicki’s appointment marks a pivotal moment in the company’s expansion. With over three decades of executive leadership in global licensing at Fortune 500s and other iconic companies such as Mattel, Inc., Peanuts Worldwide, 20th Century Fox, 4Kids Entertainment, Universal Studios, GUESS, and The Walt Disney Company, Nowicki has overseen the success of world-renowned franchises including Barbie, Peanuts, The Simpsons, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nowicki will now steer Miraculous Corp’s strategy across consumer products, gaming, promotions, and live events, positioning the beloved Miraculous™ brand—which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2025—for exponential growth.
“Roz brings a wealth of experience leading global licensing and merchandising strategy for some of the most successful IPs in the world,” commented Yeatman. “Known for her strategic thinking, product innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit in business, operations, and people management, she will be instrumental as we adapt brand strategies to connect with consumers regionally and globally as we accelerate the growth of the Miraculous™ universe to become the most-watched and most-loved superhero IP for the next generation.”
“Miraculous™ is a rare gem that has captivated boys and girls worldwide with its action-packed stories, thrilling adventures, and an inspiring coming-of-age journey that highlights the power of self-belief—reminding us that behind every mask lies a superhero,” said Nowicki. “As the brand approaches its 10th anniversary next year, I’m honored to join the team in shaping its future. Our goal is to ensure the brand continues to flourish over the next decade, working closely with strategic partners to develop innovative products and services that seamlessly blend creativity with the brand’s origins, delivering fresh, compelling experiences for fans old and new.”
Nowicki’s career highlights include serving as Head of Global Consumer Products and Franchise Marketing at Mattel, Inc., growing the multi-category consumer products division, and commissioning a best-in-class global team to drive innovation in franchise marketing and licensing.
Prior to Mattel, she served as Executive Vice President of Peanuts Worldwide, propelling the brand’s growth through breakthrough partnership strategies with high-profile retail, licensing, and promotional partners. Earlier in her career, Nowicki served as EVP of Global Licensing and Retail at 20th Century Fox; and as EVP of Global Consumer Products at 4Kids Entertainment, she drove the Yu-Gi-Oh! brand into becoming one of the top-grossing characters of all time. Nowicki began her career in licensing with The Walt Disney Company.
Nowicki continues to be a member of the Board of Advisors of Fabacus, a UK-based data management SaaS company. Additionally, having served the maximum 3-year term on the Board of Licensing International, she continues to serve as Co-Chair of the Fundraising Committee and joined the Licensing International Foundation Board earlier this year.
